Finding love is like finding someone to weather the storm with. Last February Jillian & Mark went out with our team in the middle of a snowstorm for their engagement session. The results were nothing short of breathtaking, and you can certainly see that these two are not only a great couple, they are also best friends. This month we are putting their love story on display, and thank these newlyweds for allowing us to share their story.
On their fifth anniversary of dating; July 23, 2014, Mark planned a vacation to Las Vegas. This trip was complete with a surprise limousine, flowers, champagne, and day spa trip. During the first night of the trip , Mark made dinner reservations at Picasso, which overlooks the famous fountains at the Bellagio resort. After dinner was finished, they walked out to the patio to watch the fountain show. As the music started to play, Mark dropped to one knee, pulled out “the most perfect ring”, and asked Jillian to marry him. And of course, she said yes! Jillian recalls, “the best part, is that out of the hundreds of romantic songs the Bellagio Fountains play, the song that started playing when he dropped to one knee was none other than The Pink Panther.” Fast forward to October 23, 2015 when Jillian and Mark tied the knot at the Bridgeport Art Center in Chicago. Their big day was filled with everything that makes their relationship special. While Jillian and her bridesmaids began their day at the historic Palmer House, Mark and his groomsmen eased into their day at U.S. Cellular field; home of the Chicago White Sox. From the start we knew this would be one to remember. Surrounded by just over one hundred friends and family, the ceremony joining Jillian and Mark as one was full of love. Everyone in the room could feel how much this perfect pair cared for each other and becoming husband and wife was just an extension of their relationship. Of course after the ceremony we explored the grounds of the Bridgeport Art Center with the bridal party and the new Mr. and Mrs. This location was made for celebrating; the cool Chicago vibe and unique artwork set the tone for the rest of the evening.
