Draw/Paint Portraits of Each Other
If you want to get extra creative, do it with finger paint. It will be fun to see how our other half portrays you. Or, head to your local Bottle and Bottega and channel your inner Picasso!
Visit an Arcade
Try to find one that has some fun old school games. This is a great after work idea as well. Check out some of our favorite local spots!
Wedding Photo Date
Look at all the images of your big day and remember each moment. Talk about the moments you loved most from your special day. Remember how handsome and beautiful you both looked. It is especially fun towards the end of your first year of marriage to really remember your big day! As Chicago wedding photographers we love the idea of enjoying your wedding images long after you’ve said “I Do”.
Make sure to have the cheese and the chocolate. But beware, diets are not super handy for this date!
Do this one at home or on the town. It doesn’t matter if you can sing or not. Just make it fun. You can invite your favorite Chicago wedding photographers to this date!
This is perfect for any weekend! Grab your favorite PJs and soak up the snuggles. Have breakfast in bed and hang out in your PJs for the rest of the day.
Recreate Your Firsts
Sure, most people go out to dinner for their first date, but get creative with it. Maybe you had your first kiss on top of a parking garage, maybe you met at the local coffee shop or maybe you went to an art gallery for that first date. Relive the love!
Plan A Picnic
This can be done all year round! Grab a couple of sandwiches, your favorite snacks and a bottle of wine. If the weather is cooperating find a sweet spot in the park or camp out in your living room. S’mores by the fire are the perfect addition as well.
